Can I pause my participation in the Roundup program?

Yes, you can temporarily pause the Roundup program by following the steps below:

  • Log in to MaxHSA.com 
  • Go to the Wallet menu 
  • Go to Update Checking Account
  • Select Pause 

Note: You don’t have to delink your spending cards to do so. We’ll just stop accumulating your Roundups during the pause. 

Without Roundups, you won’t be adding passive contributions to your HSA so remember to adjust your savings goals while the feature is paused. During this time you will be ineligible for receiving any Referral Rewards. 


You can restart your participation at any time to accelerate your HSA contributions by going back to Wallet and selecting the account or accounts that you paused.. We’ll begin accumulating Roundups again beginning with the next Roundup period.
