Do I face any tax consequences if I received Referral Rewards?

You will receive a 1099-MISC form from us in any year in which you earn more than $600 in Referral Rewards. Referral Rewards constitute income. 

The MaxHSA program transfers those Referral Rewards into your HSA in the form of an HSA contribution, thereby making these Referral Rewards tax-deductible to you based on your eligibility.
