How do Roundups work?
You link up to three of your everyday debit and credit spending cards by selecting the Wallet option from the menu once you complete your Login at MaxHSA.com. Every time you use a registered card, we track the difference between the value of your transaction and the next whole dollar.
Twice each month, we add up your Roundups and once you’ve accumulated a minimum of $10, we withdraw that amount from your linked, assigned personal checking account and transfer it directly to your MaxHSA account.
We then send those funds to your HSA administrator to deposit into your HSA. We send money at the end of the month when you reach a minimum of $50.
*Please note: To help ensure you don’t overdraft your linked personal account, we will only pull funds if you have 150% or more of the amount of funds in your account. In other words, if your Roundups equal $20, you must have at least $30 in your account for us to withdraw the funds for transfer to your MaxHSA.
