How long does it take to open my account?

It takes only a few minutes to set up your MaxHSA account whether you are using it for our hsaIQ feature or to start earning funds that you can contribute towards your HSA goals. 

You can access the mobile-friendly MaxHSA app and begin to interact with it without going through the identity verification process or paying fees. You can begin setting your savings goal, becoming more HSA savvy by submitting questions to hsaIQ, and receiving contextual tips on how to contribute more to your HSA. 

When you’re ready to start earning funds towards your HSA goals by participating in the Roundup and/or Cashback programs, you must complete the member identification process. This is required to comply with federal banking regulations. It takes only a few minutes to do so, and most applicants are approved instantly. In some cases, we may request additional information to verify your identity. You’ll be advised which documents are needed to complete the verification process and how you can submit them.
