What fees does MaxHSA charge?

Fees are charged only when we send your Roundups and Cashback Rewards to your HSA administrator to deposit into your HSA. The fee is $5 per transfer and the frequency varies, depending on your program. Some administrators may reimburse you for all or a portion of your transfer fee. For complete fee information, check out the Fee Schedule in our Terms and Conditions.

Even though fees are charged whenever we transfer your Roundups, Cashback Rewards, and/or Referral Rewards, and/or referral funds, keep in mind that most MaxHSA participants save between 22% and 28% in taxes when they make tax-deductible contributions to their HSA. If you earn $60, you’ll typically save between $13 and $17 in taxes. These tax savings more than cover your MaxHSA fees.

Remember! You can offset some of your fees through Referral Rewards. Please see the following article for more information: How does your referral program work?
